Last weekend we piled into a couple of cars with 6 young people from our team and headed up to Cardiff. It was a little spontaneous but we love what we were embarking on.
During her sabbatical, Wendy has been more and more stirred to create a space to encourage and champion the younger generation on our team in their journey of faith. We’ve seen in our girls and many others a hunger to really grow in their faith and to be mentored by the older generation. We see this so often in the stories of the Bible of the older generations helping guide the younger generation into a deeper understanding and relationship with God.
So we spent a weekend in Cardiff with about 20 young people from across YWAM England. Rooted is a youth missional leadership program where young people can learn to know Jesus deeply, live boldly for Him, and carry His presence wherever they go.
It was so encouraging seeing these young people worshipping together, praying for one another and learning together of what it means to live boldly for Jesus.
